To achieve this, you must consume peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas, grains, and dairy products,” explains Pavlova. She adds that it’s necessary to include on our menu: seafood, mushrooms, grapefruit, green vegetables, buckwheat, walnuts, broccoli, as well as turmeric and cumin.

Furthermore, the nutritionist emphasizes the importance of drinking plenty of water since it plays a central role in the functioning of the body. In addition to water, herbal teas are also desirable in daily nutrition.

The doctor reminds us of the harm that fast food can cause because, as she explains, processed and fried foods, especially meat, lead to inflammation of the liver, blood vessels, and joints, resulting in skin problems, metabolism issues, and weight gain.

Reducing sugar intake is the cornerstone of a healthier life. “Sugar is one of the foods with a high glycemic index. It speeds up brain aging, serves as ‘fuel’ for malignant cells, and damages connective tissue proteins, aging the skin, blood vessels, and internal organs. You must definitely give up juices and pastries. Also, try to reduce white bread, pasta, white rice, and cereals,” explained Pavlova.
