How to harmonize the body and biorhythm

The word “biorhythm” derives from Greek words for life and rhythm. It has become a popular tool that people have been using for years to understand cyclic phenomena in their lives.

Three biorhythms are invisible waves through which the body constantly fluctuates.

It is not a coincidence that most movies last 90 minutes and school classes are 45 minutes long. All individuals are influenced by the sun and the alternation of day and night. Everything around us occurs in specific cycles and phases.

Biorhythm affects mental, physical, and emotional abilities, so it is advisable to choose activities more carefully.

For learning, exams, meetings, and important business activities, it is recommended to plan them when the intellectual biorhythm is above the horizontal zero line.

Athletes are advised to schedule competitions when their biorhythm wave is in a positive position. Extra caution is needed when the waves are at their lowest points below zero.

Furthermore, if possible, events related to emotions should be carried out when the emotional biorhythm wave is rising or at its peak.

Emotional, intellectual, and physical biorhythm

Biorhythm encompasses emotional, intellectual, and physical cycles. Each of these three cycles has its own rhythm. The intellectual biorhythm lasts for 33 days and affects intellectual abilities, creativity, learning potential, and perception. The emotional biorhythm is tied to emotions, positive moods, but also negativity, anxiety, and lasts for 28 days. The physical biorhythm lasts for 23 days.

Since these three biorhythms have different durations, their cycles alternate differently, overlapping or entering positive and negative phases.

All three biorhythms have positive and negative phases, periods when they are below or above the biorhythm curve line.

In addition to the area where the biorhythm curve is located, the critical points are also important, i.e., the days when the biorhythm reaches its maximum, minimum, or intersects the zero line.

Considering the different movements of these three biorhythms, various combinations are possible where all three biorhythms are in a positive phase or their best phase, when all three biorhythms are in a negative phase, but also numerous combinations where one or two biorhythms are negative while the third one is positive, and vice versa.

Activities can be planned based on these combinations.

Double and triple days occur when two or three biorhythm cycles are at the same point. Such days are rare and require special attention.

Physical biorhythm

When the physical biorhythm is in a positive phase, a person feels fit, full of energy, and ready for physical activities. Sports challenges are easier to overcome during this time, as well as any activities that require physical effort or endurance. In the opposite part of the biorhythm cycle, a person feels exhausted and tired.

When the physical biorhythm is below the line, it is important to be more cautious during physical activities, and demanding physical activities should be planned during days of positive biorhythm.

Emotional Biorhythm

When the emotional biorhythm is in a positive phase, a person has a greater understanding of others, their relationships with others are better, they have more self-confidence, and a more positive attitude. On the other hand, when the emotional biorhythm is in a negative phase, irritability, a negative attitude towards others, and oneself are common. During those days, one should exercise restraint, try not to overreact, and reduce impulsiveness. It is also advisable not to make important decisions when the emotional biorhythm is in a negative phase but rather wait for a few days before deciding, if possible.

Intellectual Biorhythm

When the intellectual biorhythm is in a positive phase, a person is more creative, more receptive to learning, better understands new subjects, and solves challenging tasks more easily. During this phase of the biorhythm, it is better to engage in demanding exams, projects, study more, and tackle challenging tasks. In the opposite phase of the biorhythm, learning becomes more difficult, problems with concentration and challenging projects may arise, as well as a lack of creativity. When the intellectual biorhythm is in a negative phase, it is better to focus on routine tasks.
